Set the altar, placing the balck and red on the left with the white on the right. Cast your circle and anoint your candles with Brigid's oil. Sprinkle incence of your choice over the charcoal. Write the following on a piece of paper: I call the power of Brid to bring me the knowledge that I am seeking, to be granted awareness, ability, and enthusiasm. I ask for the good of all , so mote it be. Sprinkle more incense on the charcoal and hold the paper in the smoke and speak the words outloud to the Goddess Brigid. Afterwards, touch the paper with Brigid's oil, light the paper in the flame of the black candle, and allow it to burn in the ash pot. When the flames die out, raise your hands to the sky and thank the Goddess out loud. Pick up the rose quartz crystal and anoint with her oil, charge the crystals and place them in the ash pot. Drink the water in slow sips, feeling her energy enter your body to give you wisdom. Place the crystals in the bag hold over smoke and charge it. Release your circle with wand, keep the ashes of your spell in the bag and keep it with you for a while... Don't be surprised if the spirit of Sofia also appears as she may want you to notice her power of knowledge. She is the Goddess of Knowledge.
WINTER LOVE SPELL
The night before the full moon before Solstice, set your altar facing East. Place
black and red candles on the left side and a white one on the right. Place a few springs of holly,
ivy, and evergreen around the porcelain bowl. Fill the bowl with fresh snow or ice (from your freezer if you have none outside)
Place the peyton in front of you and the two oils to the right of you. Light your charcoal. Wear red, black, or a white robe/dress.
Cast your circle clockwise, or deosil with your wand. Saying:
Circle white, circle perfect, show your light, through this cold and winter night.
Cast a second
circle and say:
Circle red, circle perfect, show your light, perfect ring of power and light.
Cast a third circle and say: Circle black, circle perfect, show your light, draw me to my heart's delight.
Anoint your candles with Winter Solstice Oil and Love Oil. Sprinkle incense on the charcoaland write these words on your parchment or something similar:
"the moon shadows the hawk as it flies over the snowcovered hills. The bright moon lights the silver freeze, and the night wind carries a wail of the wolf. Could my screaming heart be heard so clearly!
Shall the moon's light strike my likeness into your mind, love, and heart. You are a part of my life! I ask the Gods and Goddesses that what I ask is to their liking and correct for all. I neutralize anything that is harmful.
So mote it be."
HERBAL PROSPERITY SPELL
Cast a magic Circle or get into a magic space. Bring with you the following:
MABON OIL
1 GOLD OR YELLOW CANDLE
1 BLACK CANDLE
2 TBS. EACH: YARROW , ROSEMARY, MARIGOLD
1 CLEAR QUARTZ CRYSTAL
1 CITRINE
1 THURIBLE MABON INCENSE
1 INSTANT LIGHT CHARCOAL`
1 FOUR - INCH SQUARE OF PAPER
1 FOUR - INCH SQUARE OF YELLLOW FABRIC, OR MAGIC BAG
GOLD OR YELLOW CORD
In a circle, anoit the candles with the Mabon oil. Hold the gold candle and charge it with words to bring prosperity. So mote it be. Charge the black candle to draw you all that is safe, correct, and granted by the Gods and Goddesses.
Place the candles in the holers and as you light them say: This flame is the light of the God Mabon and the Mother Goddess Modron. Light the charcoal. Put a pinch of Prosperity Incense on it.
Take the paper and write your spell, what ever it may be, what ever you may want. Repeat this outloud, speaking to Mabon and Modron. Thank them for the bounty they have given you in the past. Think of the Wheel of the Year that has come before, and be truly thankful for all you have been granted.
Smudge the spell in the smoke of the incense by passing thepaper through the rising smoke. Roll thespell and tie with some yellow thread or cord and set it aside. Place the fabric square or magic bag in front of you with some gold cord to tie it. Pick up your dried herbs and stone one by one. Hold them in your hands. Lift your hands and show them to the God and Goddess. Visualize htlight of the God and Goddess striking the object. Place the herbs and stone in the mag, tie , and set aside.
Snuff out your candles or let them burn. You may want to relight them at a time when you want to again cast the spell. Carry the spell and magick bag with you.
