Parsley leaves help alleviate bladder infections, especially when combined with equal parts of echinacea and marshmallow root. Parsley leaves are best taken in salads or juiced. The root is good for treating ailments of the liver and gallbladder. It is also used for water retention, asthma, and jaundice. Parsley is high in chlorophyll and has been used for treating cancer as well as nervous problems where a high content of magnesium is required. (Chlorophyll contains the magnesium ion.)
